VII COLOQUIO INTERNACIONAL DE MUSICOLOGÍA CASA DE LAS AMERICAS, CUBA, 2012:

En abril de 2012 tuve el privilegio de ser invitado al VII Coloquio Internacional de Musicología Casa de las Américas, realizado en La Habana, Cuba al pude asistir gracias al apoyo de la Universidad EAFIT. Mi ponencia "Los Ecos del Teatro: El impacto de la Actividad Teatral en La Práctica Musical de la Ciudad de Medellín" fue incluida en la mesa "El Teatro y la Música" junto con las de los profesores Carlos Correo de Paiva de Uruguay y Carlos Fiayo de Cuba.

La Mesa realizada el martes 20 de abril de 2012, fue una excelente ocasión para realizar una reflexión académica sobre la importancia de los teatros y su valor como un espacios para la construcción de identidades musicales en nuestra región del continente.

Espacios como este nos ofrecen a los musicólogos la oportunidad intercambiar experiencias e ideas con colegas de América Latina, por eso día a día se hacen más necesarios.

VII INTERNATIONAL  MUSICOLOGY COLLOQUIUM, HOUSE OF THE AMERICAS, CUBA, 2012:

On April of 2012 I was invited to the Seventh International Colloquium of Musicology Casa de las Americas,  in the Havana, Cuba. My conference "Echoes of the Theatre: The Impact of Activity Practice Musical Theatre in the City of Medellin" was included in the table "The Theatre and Music" along with the works of the professors Carlos Paiva from Uruguay and Carlos Fiayo from Cuba.

This event  was an excellent opportunity to the academic reflection about the importance of theaters and its value as spaces where a significative part of the musical identities of Latin America were constructed.
